Very special pair of imposing large french Antique Neo Gothic wooden twin arm candelabras candle holders.
The main base is a 4 sided solid plinth in wood with 4 metal feet then carved central columns wrapped in Decorated forged iron fretwork and embellishments,lead out to each arm with heavy brass or bronze drip trays and candle holders, leading to the top with again an iron or bronze heavily decorated cast top section.
Condition
These are obviously used but have been well looked after with minimal nicks chips etc, to the base of 1 candelabra the wood has a crack in it clearly shown in the photos nothing serious but it is there and can be seen.
There are several numbers underneath each candelabra including the letters mc stamped on the feet,I believe these would have been used in a church on the altar or thereabouts in the past.
Now 1 sat at each end of a large table would look absolutely amazing and would set a fantastic theme for your guests or can be positioned in most places and would look just fantastic.
they may need a clean and polish as I have just given them a minimal dusting its your preference when they arrive
