Antique Gothic Renaissance  table lamp with 3 lights fabricated in iron could have originally been used in a church as a candle holder but sometime in its life it has been electrified, everything is original and in as found condition, the original bulb holders are wooden and the candle tubes are flared and wooden also quite unique as I have not seen anything like this in all my years of collecting and sourcing treasures.
there is an iron clover symbol or quatrefoil in the centre of the lamp.

The 4 leaf clover or quatrefoil has a rich history usually seen in gothic and renaissance architecture It has strong symbolic roots and as most of us know it is an ancient symbol of good luck.  Since it is readily dividable into equal portions, it is said to also symbolize harmony, symmetry and proportion.  In Christianity, the four leaves represent the four gospel authors in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

condition is working and for sale as seen and untouched in the photos, its very solid, the colour is black with a green patina tinge to most parts with antique colored bands to the arms, the wooden bulb holders are fine apart from one that has broken at the bottom which can be seen in the photo`s im sure it can be glued to make more solid, the candle tubes are worn in places but again solid, the plug is a really old euro plug 2 pin and the switch is also vintage so maybe better to get it checked over by an electrician or good diy-er for safety reasons as with most 2nd hand lighting.
