Fantastic huge Antique Soviet communist party emblem in wood,with gold aged painted front, across the top is the symbol of the RSFSR, which means the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, below this is the iconic typical hammer and sickle emblem on a background of sunbeams, which symbolises the union of workers and collective farmers.
Hanging on the building of one of the branches of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in the city of Tula since the 1940s. It was removed from the building after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1992 and was carefully preserved by one of the former communists of this branch.
Condition is very good for its age,some scratches and chips in the wood,and 3 splits in the front due to wood drying out over time,but not through to the back still very solid and a very rare find, it has also not be cleaned.
Would look fantastic in a bar cafe restaurant art gallery etc.
