This authentic super cool vintage table office or bedside lamp was made in Germany in the 1930s-1940s during the Bauhaus period. It is made of bronzed brass and metal and has the rare humbug bowl style opaline glass lamp shade in multi yellow mustard brown stripe colored glass.
The lamp bears the mark DRGM on the wingnut just above the shade which allows it to be adjusted for different applications.
Between 1891 and 1945, many products in Germany were marked "DRGM", often with a model number added, which today limits the time of origin of some surviving historic devices to a specific decade.

Ready for use in any country of the world. It comes with a standard continental European 2-pin plug,an on off switch on the base which works but is a little vague,there is also a small patina of time on the base and arm of the lamp adding to its charm and verifying its age nicely, the cable is original and although shown working may need replacing, and as with all 2nd hand electrical products should be checked over by a competent diyer electrician before use.
The light requires one E27 screw in bulb.
This table lamp will fit perfectly in your bedroom as a night lamp or in your office study library as a desk lamp.
