Very beautiful French brass fireplace fender Louis xv style from the early 20th century. Composed of 3 solid well made pièces, along the bottom runs the decorative extension bar in pierced and heavily decorated brass and a pair of heavy solid brass towers andirons again finely decorated with excellent castings.
The towers are placed over the bar and the back steel brackets help them to sit safely on the floor.
Condition is really very good for its age with a few scrapes and a little warping to the bottom bar nothing that would ruin the overal look of this beauty.
There is 1 hook at the back of 1 andiron missing these hold the towers to the bar but its still very useable and not noticeable when set up as the hook on the left andiron holds the bar in place, you can see the missing hook in photo 10.
Would benefit from a good clean and polish depending on the look you want.

The decorative bar is 69 cm 27 inch . The height at the middle is 11.5 cm 4.5 inches.
The andirons measure 27 cm 10.6 inch in height, 19.5 cm 7.6 inch in width and 6 cm2.3 inches in depth. weight before packing is approx. 3,9 kg 8.5 lbs.
