Pair of 2 branch French bronze brass mix classic Empire Napoleon style wall light sconce, fittings C 1950s
Excellent detailed castings covered with lots of gorgeous detail, very heavy and solid a good large size. The top has the shape of a flower vase typical Empire styling.
The sconces are in great vintage condition with a patina of time commensurate with age, The cardboard faux candle tubes also have chips and nibbles in them, The lights are untested, the wiring looks original and untouched so its imperative to get the wiring checked out by a competent handy person or electrician before fitting.
If it were me I would rewire them, its easy and not expensive and will give you peace of mind in the future, this has been taken into account when pricing these beauties up.
The light bulb fittings are E14 screw in type, again could be changed for your countries regulations.
